Their Majesties have been off attending to business in lands far distant from Thee Rivers. In Their absence, lawlessness abounds. Brigands and thieves prey on innocent travellers as the Sherrif turns a blind eye, for the right price. As Their Majesties return, They vow to right these wrongs. But They will need your assistance. Will you help the crown? Or your own purse?
The events of the weekend will center around thievery, banditry, and poaching.
Fighters for the Crown will return heavy treasure to their fortress while beset upon by thieves.
Brigands will fight for the right to extort travellers crossing a bridge.
Thieves will steal from one another to earn the bounty on treasures.
Archers will attempt to secure their dinner by poaching before they're caught by the Sherrif.
Artisans will steal from one another to craft works of beauty.
Poets will steal lost works from time.
Noble children will seek to aid the Law and return lost items.
The populance will dine on foods stolen from the King's forest.
Various people have notice items missing. It would appear thieves are about!
But not being entirely foolish, the thieves have hidden the items to ensure that, if they are interrogated by the Sherrif, the items cannot be found upon their person.
This means that there may be several objects of value hidden nearby. And since there is no honor amongst thieves, those objects may be stolen yet again...
"Stolen" items will be hidden around the area for the event. Being that they are treasures, they will be appropriately placed in small treasure chests. If at any time, an attendee of the event locates one, they are free to take it and relocate it in another hiding place. The treasure chests must be in common areas that all attendees can access (i.e., not personal encampments). Participants are free to open the chests and inspect their contents but should not remove any items from them.
Before Court on Saturday, a bounty will be called upon the items and those participating are encouraged to check their hiding places. If the chest is still in their hiding spot, they may choose to either keep the item, or turn it in for the bounty during court. But there's no telling what the bounty might be!
Lady Eleanor nic Duncan, will be hosting a ball. Don't have a partner? That's fine! You can steal one there as the dances will all center around stealing/trading partners!
